A
Trained Graduate Teacher, a Home Economist and Consumer Educator,
Ms. Joyce Campbell is also a Graduate of the New York University where
she received her Bsc. in Consumer Studies. She is also a past student
of the Civil Service Staff College where she studied Industrial Relations
and Management.
Ms. Campbell worked in Consumer Affairs since 1972
and was founding member and President of the National Consumer Affairs’
League since 1998 until her retirement in 2005. She is a consumer
Advocate who was a member of Consumer International and has delivered
several papers on behalf of consumers at international conferences.
She received an award for her work in Latin America and the Caribbean
and has served on various boards e.g. the Standards Council, Telecom
Advisory Council, Rent Assessment Committee, Prices Commission and
the Shortwood Teachers College.
