The
Toll Authority, an agency of the Ministry of Transport and Works was
created under the Toll Roads Act. It is mandated under the provision of the
Toll Roads Act to regulate the operations and maintenance of the toll roads,
monitor the compliance of the concessionaire(s) with the terms of the Concession
Agreement and ensure that the Minister is kept up to date with first hand, accurate
information on the process that could influence policy decisions.
